We stayed at Marti Myra hotel in Tekirova in May 2013 for 2 weeks. We travelled with TUI.
Swimming pools
Swimming pools at Marti Myra Hotel are build in a very clever way. Not very deep (120 cm and 140, there are also shallow places for kids) so perfect for kids and adults. All swimming pools are build on 3 different levels so water is flowing from 1st level to second an to 3rd creating cool waterfalls. There are also 2 slides and view from the slides to the beach and sea and mountains is amazing.
Beach
Beach at Marti Myra Hotel is very big with a lot of sunbeds, parasols and with terrace. Beach is sandy at the beginning (where sunbeds are), then it becomes shingles (close to the sea), small stones (few steps in the sea) and bigger stones (deeper in the sea). It gets deep quite quickly and you should wear swimming shoes. If you don’t want to wear swimming shoes you can use pier with ladder steps leading to the deeper sea. There are water-sports located on the beach with free kayaks and pedalos, you have to pay for the rest of the sports.
Hotel grounds
There are a lot of trees (1601) all around Marti Myra Hotel so you will always find some shade. If you are looking for sun there is also plenty of sunny spots next to swimming pools and of course on the beach.
There are a lot of sunbeds next to all 7 swimming pools and on the beach and even more in the gardens. We never had problems with finding sunbeds at any time of the day.
Restaurants
There is a lot of sitting space in the main restaurant, lobby and all bars. You can eat outside or inside (air condition). Food variety is good, but after 2 weeks you can get bored with it a little bit.
Entertainment
Daily and evening entertainment at Marti Myra Hotel were great. From water gymnastics, water polo, step aerobic, darts, shooting, archery, boccia, volleyball to football. Plenty to keep you busy during the day. Evening entertainment also was very good. Evening shows start at 21.30 and included: magic, comedy, different dancing shows, fire shows, acrobats and even. There are also pool parties and beach discos. Animation team is very friendly.
There is a market between swimming pools once a week and you can buy: perfumes, jewellery, clothes, spices, etc. You can also ride on the camel or donkey.
There is also paid hobby centre.
Room 712
Rooms at Marti Myra Hotel are very nice and big. Double bed, flat TV, big mirrors, coffee table, 2 small sofas and nice paintings. In the fridge which is replenished daily you can find cola, diet cola, fanta, sprite, water and some juices. In the bathroom we had a very big shower. Everything was looking quite new and it was clean.
