Our hotel was located only 15 minutes walking distance from Kallithea Springs. We could see Kallithea beach and dome building from our hotel. We visited this place in the afternoon, when it got cloudy. We were very lucky because there were hardly any tourists around. Although there are no springs at Kallithea Springs it one of the must visit places in Rhodes. Beautiful white buildings, sculptures, fountains, mosaics, greenery, sea and beach in the background make this place magical. Everything is so symmetrical which makes Kallithea Springs even more beautiful. Yes, it probably would be better to visit it when it’s sunny but in the afternoon it’s still gorgeous and there are hardly any tourists around. You don’t need a lot of time to visit this place (1-2h), unless you are planning to spend your day at the Kallithea beach. I recommend visiting it on your way to Rhodes old town. It’s not easy to describe how beautiful Kallithea Springs is, you need to see the photos to understand.
